Vous trouverez un appel à communication pour la revue transdisciplinaire en ligne Quaderna, sur le thème “Cartographier l’Autre”. La revue accepte des articles dans six langues différentes.

Dans l’espace occidental, cartographier l’Autre n’est pas une notion prescriptive d’assignation d’identités fixes. Il s’agit plutôt de s’interroger sur le lien entre ces identités intersectionnelles de l’altérité et les spécificités des différents espaces occidentaux. En d’autres termes, cela invite à reconsidérer la façon dont l’Autre se définit soi-même, de manière autonome, dans les espaces dominants et marginaux de l’« ordre normatif » des sociétés hégémoniques, et comment il s’y insère pour le faire sien – remettant en cause les systèmes d’oppression en place.

Les propositions sont à envoyer jusqu’au 31 mai 2023 (cf. détails dans le document). N’hésitez pas à partager !

Here is a call for papers for the online transdisciplinary journal Quaderna, on the subject “Mapping the Other.” The journal accepts articles in six languages.

In Western space, mapping the Other is not a prescriptive notion to assign ossified identities. Rather, it is about questioning the link between these intersectional identities of otherness and the specificities of the various Western spaces. In other words, it invites a reconsideration of how the Others autonomously define themselves in the dominant and marginal spaces of the “normative order” of hegemonic societies, and how they integrate them to make them theirs—therefore challenging the systems of oppression implemented.

Proposals must be sent by May 31, 2023 (cf. details in document). Do not hesitate to share the information!
